Subgrades are available to view once your submission has been dispatched.

What are subgrades?

Subgrades are a set of 4 key areas that are scrutinised by our graders to determine the overall grade of a card. These subgrades give you a more detailed overview of which areas of the card have impacted the card's overall grade.

The 4 subgrades are:

  • Centering
  • Corners
  • Edges
  • Surface

Each area will be given a grade in line with the Ace Grading Scale that represents the condition of card.

When are Subgrades for a card available to be viewed?

Subgrades are able to be viewed after the submission the card is in, has been shipped. Shipping times may vary, for more information on this please see here.

Where can I view them?

Once the submission has been shipped you can use the certification number (found on your dashboard or under the grade on the label of the card) in the search bar here: https://acegrading.com/cert

Or alternatively, if you wish to see more than just the subgrades and gain further insight into the condition of your card, you can purchase the grading report for the card on the basket page of the website here.

If you have any questions about your grade or subgrades in particular, you are welcome to reach out to our customer support team who may be able to assist you with further understanding your grading results.
