Grading Dispute Policy
This policy outlines ACE Grading’s approach to handling customer concerns or disputes regarding grading outcomes. Our goal is to ensure transparency, fairness, and consistency while maintaining the integrity of our grading process.
1.0 Grading review
1.1 ACE Grading does not currently operate a dedicated grade review service. However, we are committed to providing clarity and assistance to customers who have questions or concerns about their grading results. Customers who are not satisfied with their grade are encouraged to contact ACE Grading Customer Support to seek advice and clarification regarding the grading report and the factors influencing the assigned grade.
2.0 Grading Process Integrity
2.1 All grading conducted by ACE Grading is:
- Performed by trained professionals.
- Supported by high-specification digital equipment when necessary to improve defect visibility.
- Completed impartially and strictly according to ACE Grading’s proprietary grading scale.
2.2 We do not consider:
- Market valuations or perceived card value.
- Previous grades issued by any company or pre-grade services.
- Standards used by external grading companies.
- AI grading results or external automated assessments.
2.3 Each card is graded independently based on ACE Grading’s standards to ensure consistent and objective results.
Ace Grading will not accept any attempt to dilute our grading integrity for submitter value.
3.0 Re-assessment Policy
3.1 ACE Grading does not offer re-assessments or re-grades solely due to customer dissatisfaction with a grade outcome. Our role in such instances is to help the customer understand the reasoning and criteria behind the grade given.
3.2 If, however, an objective error is identified, such as a mistake in data entry, measurement, or other verifiable aspects of the grading determinations, ACE Grading may, at its sole discretion, agree to re-assess the card.
4.0 Conditions for Re-assessment
4.1 In cases where ACE Grading agrees to a re-assessment:
- The card must be returned to ACE Grading for verification.
- The process will be conducted confidentially, and both parties will enter into a Customer Privacy and Protection Agreement.
- Information regarding the re-assessment, findings, or outcomes must not be shared publicly or on any platform, including social media.
4.2 ACE Grading reserves the right to make all final decisions regarding re-assessment eligibility and outcomes.
