Articles on: Label Selection

Why has my label changed to Standard?

If your card receives one of our Standard labels then it is likely we have not been able to grade it

If this happens, your card will be issued one of 3 qualifiers:

Altered

If we believe a card to be recoloured, reshaped, restored or modified in any way to make it different from the original card, then the card will receive the Altered qualifier.

Your card will not will not be encapsulated, added to our certification database or population report and we will return it raw.

You will still be charged for an Altered card on your invoice

Questionable Authenticity

If a card's authenticity can not be verified, we will give the card the Questionable Authenticity qualifier.

Your card will not will not be encapsulated, added to our certification database or population report and we will return it raw.

You will not be charged for a QA card on your invoice

Counterfeit

If a card fails the Ace Grading authenticity checks, we will give the card the Counterfeit qualifier.

Your card will not will not be encapsulated, added to our certification database or population report and we will return it raw.

You will still be charged for a Counterfeit card on your invoice

If you require further assistance or evidence for this please contact Ace Customer Support once the Qualifier has been confirmed after payment
